To improve the intake throughput and reliability of flotation plants with simultaneous reduction of the mechanical complexity and the energy costs for the booster pump, the following connection series is chosen: Untreated water intake via reduced pressure vessel having an integrated filter and assigned intake connection of the untreated water injector and also having an assigned intake connection for the booster pump having an upstream air injection point, a saturation vessel provided downstream of the booster pump with following pressure-maintaining valve and the connection of the pressure-bearing, air-saturated untreated water part-stream to the motive stream nozzle of the untreated water injector assigned to the reduced pressure vessel, for mixing the untreated water streams and to intensify the reduced pressure for the intake of untreated water from a spatially separated untreated water collecting vessel.
