A device having a number of receiving coils for avoiding a loss of reception due to the directional patterns of the transmitting and receiving coil in a signal transmission with magnetic field
To receive the signal-transmitting magnetic field, this device uses a number of but, at least two, receiving coils having a certain angle between their geometric axes and ordered in one or two mutually perpendicular planes in a certain manner so that the directions of their geometric axes and also the direction of the axis of the transmitting coil are allowed to be optional in one plane or also in space. These receiving coils are, at the same time, inductances of the resonant receiving circuits and from each such resonant circuit, signal voltage is picked up at least once during a periodically repetitive receiving cycle. The device shown in Figure 9 has three receiving coils "Lx", "Ly", "Lz" with mutually perpendicular axes and the directions of these axes and also of the axis of the transmitting coil are allowed to be optional in space. To complete a resonant circuit, a common capacitor "C" is used and the receiving coils are successively connected to this and, at the same time, to the signal amplifier "A" by means of electronic switches "Sch.X", "Sch.Y", "Sch.Z", which are operated by means of a controller (070), during each receiving cycle.
