The partial regions of the tube sheet (4) into which the elements are inserted are designed to be so small that only one tube (5) at a time can be processed by cleaning elements (6). In this way, statistical accidents are excluded, so that sensitive tubes (5), for example those made of a copper alloy, are cleaned neither too often nor too infrequently, and consequently a high efficiency is achieved with a low degree of corrosion.
