The invention relates to a moulding which is treated by means of corona discharge and a process for this treatment. The moulding is a high molecular-weight polyolefin product whose surfaces are treated by means of corona discharge and another body, for example a cover layer of high molecular-weight material or a high molecular-weight compound, is joined to the treated surface of the moulding. In the treatment the three-dimensional moulding is first cleaned with an organic solvent then treated by means of corona discharge with the use of a discharge electrode with a spherical, rod-shaped or plate-shaped discharge head which is arranged close to the moulding and is moved relative to the latter across the surface of the moulding.
