A specific feeler circuit consists of a flexible polyimide insulating screen carrying conductive studs one per conductive tree of the circuit under test. Each stud positioned in strict coincidences with one of the studs of each tree is obtd. from metallisation of a through hole in the flexible screen, pref. comparable with a domed-head rivet. An associated exploratory circuit comprises a metallised insulating sheet with at least two coplanar conductive areas sepd. by a transverse electrical discontinuity. A megohmmeter connected to two of theses areas indicates the measure of galvanic isolation between them when the specific feeler circuit is superimposed correctly on the circuit under test, and the exploratory circuit is applied in contact with all accessible studs.
