The present invention relates to a composition for the marcotting and the propagation by cuttings of plants, characterised in that it comprises a bacterial inoculum with a plasmid comprising at least one functional portion of the Ri T-DNA and a carrier which is acceptable for marcotting and propagation by cuttings.
