METHOD FOR RECOGNIZING INTENTION OF CONVERSATION TEXT

PURPOSE:To obtain a universal intention recognizing system, by extracting the intention of a classified questionnaire as a bit of information regarding a topic, and recognizing the transition of the topic by identifying the latest topic by means of a topic system managing table. CONSTITUTION:A topic managing part 23 performs interaction control, and sends a bit of input information to a questionnaire analyzing part 24. The questionnaire analyzing part 24, in receiving the bit of input information, performs a syntax analysis, meaning analysis processing by referring to a dictionary information 16, a grammar rule 17, and a meaning expressing model 18, and sends the meaning structure of a text, for example, in the expression of a predicate logic format to the topic managing part 23. Next, the topic managing part 23 identifies the mutual relationship of the systems between the latest topic and a preceding topic by the pronoun in the questionnaire, the omission of the topic, and the constraint of the topic, etc., based on the topic system managing table 21, and classifies and recognizes the topics. Next, a processing corresponding to a text type is performed based on an identified topic, and a constraint condition, etc., and a retrieval plan developing part 25 generates the meaning structure possible to be processed.
