PURPOSE:To quickly and fully discharge the entire molten metal in a supply system into a supply chamber by mounting the suction pipe of the supply system to the position higher than the molten metal surface in the supply chamber which lowers when the pressure in a pressure chamber is released, thereby discharging the molten metal on the lowered molten metal surface by gravity. The pressure in the pressure chamber 12 is then quickly released and the molten metal surfaces in the chamber 12 and in the supply chamber 14 are averaged to the same molten metal surface Lc. A suction port 18a is positioned upper than the surface Lc at this time and since the supply system 16 is disposed upper than the suction port 18a, the entire molten metal M in the system 16 is quickly and surely discharged by gravity into the chamber 14.
