CONTINUOUS MANUFACTURING OF LOW CONCENTRATION ANION SURFACTANT COMPOSITION

PURPOSE:To dilute high concentration anion surfactat continuously in a short time, by stirring high concentration anion and diluent using a line mixer which operates at a shearing speed of more than 5,000sec-1 and with mixer load of less than 0.03. CONSTITUTION:High concentration anion and diluent are continuously supplied at a prearranged ratio simultaneously using a quantitative pump to a line mixer 1. Then these chemicals are continuously diluted by operation of the line mixer 1 at shearing speed of 5,000sec-1 or more, preferably 10,000sec-1 or more and with mixer load F/Q [F represents a supply amount of a composition, Q=nd3 ((n) represents the number of mixer rotations and (d) represents the diameter of a blade)] of 0.03 or less, preferably 0.01 or less. The anion activator includes polyoxyethylene alkylether sulfate, C12-C20 alpha-olefin sulfonate, etc. The diluent is normally an aqueous diluted solution of aqueous surfactant.
