BANKING BLOCK FOR CONSTRUCTION OF BANKING STRUCTURE

PURPOSE:To relieve buoyancy and press load during the rise of water level by forming a cavity through which water is allowed to go into a banking block made of expanded styrol. CONSTITUTION:A cavity 1a through which water is allowed to penetrate into a banking block 1 made of expanded styrol is provided, having an entrance through which water flows into the cavity 1a continuously and an outlet through which water goes out of the cavity la. A number of the banking blocks 1 are stacked up on the ground to form a banking structure A. Buoyancy can thus be greatly reduced, and the amount of banking soil as a countermeasure for buoyancy can be reduced. Thereby an economical banking structure can be constructed.
