PURPOSE:To prepare a small-sized light wt. apparatus having simple constitution inexpensively without generating special difficulty in processing, by uniting an external force introducing part, a columnar strain generating part, a beam and a pedestal part. CONSTITUTION:This apparatus consists of a base stand 2 fixing the respective pedestal parts of four multicomponent force detectors 1, a flat intermediate plate 3 connecting the respective external force introducing parts of the multicomponent force detectors 1 and the loading stand 4 in contact with the respective external force introducing parts of the multicomponent force detectors 1 in a spot contact state and connected thereto through connection parts 5. Further, clamp mechanisms 6 each achieving function as a stopper when excessive force is loaded during the movement of a multicomponent force detection apparatus or during measurement are provided between the base stand 2 and the loading stand 4. External force applied to an object to be measured from a fluid or other substance is separated into three components of at least an X-axis, a Y-axis and a Z-axis and the moment of rotation around the Z-axis by the multicomponent force detectors 1 and all of them can be detected as electric signals.
