GEOGRAPHIC CROSS SECTIONAL VIEW FORMING SYSTEM

PURPOSE:To reduce the fatigue of an operator by reading contour lines bar data formed so that the relation of a distance and a height corresponding to contour lines in a map is indicated previously by a data reader to arithmetically process and visibly displaying a geographic sectional view. CONSTITUTION:A reading means 2 for reading the contour line bar data formed so as to represent the relation of the distance and the height corresponding to the contour line in the map, a driving means 1 for moving the reading means 2 along a paper surface on which the contour line bar data 5 is described and a processing means for executing the arithmetical processing for visibly displaying the geographic sectional view based on the contour line bar data 5 read by the reading means 2 are provided. Thereby, the geographic sectional view is visibly displayed, and the preprocessing of map data can be shared by plural persons, so that many geographic sectional view can be formed in a short time.
