ANAEROBIC FILTER BED TYPE TANK OF SEWAGE TREATMENT

PURPOSE:To efficiently perform treatment of sewage by providing a sludge blanket to the bottom of an anaerobic filter bed. CONSTITUTION:Sewage is passed through a supply pipe 7 and introduced from the bottom of a sludge blanket part 5 holding a constant amount of sludge consisting of anaerobic microorganism. While sewage is raised through the sludge blanket 5, suspended matter is stored in the sludge blanket part 5 and also organic substance contained in sewage is preliminarily subjected to anaerobic treatment. The sewage passed through the sludge blanket part 5 is raised through an anaerobic filter bed 2 and furthermore subjected to anaerobic treatment and organic substance contained in the sewage is decomposed. The sewage subjected to anaerobic treatment flows out from the top of the anaerobic filter bed type treatment tank and then into an aerobic treatment tank 3 and is subjected to aerobic treatment by air fed from a conduit 6. Thereby the treatment time can be shortened.
