CO-SN METAL-BASE DIAMOND SINTERED BODY

摘要

PURPOSE:To allow a Co-Sn metal-base diamond sintered body to show superior grinding performance when used to precisely grind fine ceramics, by holding the diamond abrasive grains with a matrix phase consisting of Co and Sn. CONSTITUTION:Co powder of =10mu average particle size and an Sn powder of =100mum are mixed with 10-30wt% diamond powder of 50-300mum and sintered to obtain a diamond sintered body. The diamond abrasive grains in the diamond sintered body are held with a matrix phase consisting of 5-30wt% Sn and the balance Co and having a heterogeneous structure.
