PURPOSE:To easily form a program and to enable the machining time to be reduced, by selectively processing any of the systems which spread information of all or one part of the machining information group to all or one part of the work coordinate system in accordance with a type of multiple pickup machining. CONSTITUTION:A program former inputs a type I or II of multiple quantity pickup machining from a keyboard 5 and stores input data in a memory 9. Next, the forming of a machining program is started from an input of work coordinate system position data, and the whole position data are defined to be stored in a memory 8. And if the input is finished by storing machining information in a memory 12, a main control part 2, on the basis of contents of the memories 9, 8, 12, spreads the information in the whole work coordinate system to determine a machining process in which a number of times of tool exchange decreases to a minimum. Next the type II, after it inputs an applicable machining surface angle and work coordinate system data of one part of the machining information group, inputs the machining information, and after the input is finished, a control part 2, which repeats the spread only about the applicable work coordinate system of the defined machining information, determines a machining process where the number of times of tool exchange decreases to the minimum.
