METHOD FOR EASILY COATING JAPANESE LACQUER ON METALLIC SURFACE

PURPOSE:To simplify the titled process and to inexpensively produce a pretty product having depth in mass production by using metal good in thermal conductivity as a base and molding it into a cured surface and making the surface finely rough and indirectly heating high-concn. CONSTITUTION:Metal good in thermal conductivity such as copper is used as a base 1 and molded into a required curved surface R and the surface is firstly swept by a solvent such as thinner to remove oil content. Thereafter a Japanese lacquer primer is uniformly applied on the curved surface R and the semifinished prod uct is housed in a basket and put on a lagging tray and indirectly heated. Furthermore the coating of comparatively concd. Japanese lacquer is performed with a brush and this drying and coating are repeated not more than three times. Thereby a pretty product having depth can be inexpensively produced in mass production.
