SOURCE PROGRAM RESTORING SYSTEM IN CASE OF SYSTEM TROUBLE OF INTERACTIVE TEXT EDITOR

PURPOSE:To avoid the useless editing jobs before a system trouble occurs by supplying a text to an interactive text editor from a working file to be restored to continue the editing job and then registering the text to a source program library as a source program. CONSTITUTION:If a system trouble occurs while a text is editing by means of a working file, this file is not deleted and stored in an external memory device. An editor 102 is started again via an on-line terminal 7 in the same user name after the system operation is restarted. Then the editor 1 reflects the results of the subsequent editing jobs to a source program in a state set before the system trouble occurs by means of a restoration subject source program checking means 3, a source program restoration inquiring means 4, a working file input means 5, an interactive editing means 22 and a source program register means 6. Then the working file is deleted when the editing job is over.
