PURPOSE:To obtain the titled material having an excellent spectral absorbing characteristics by incorporating one kind of the coupler selected from specific couplers and/or the polymer coupler derivated from said coupler, a specific compd. and a high boiling point org. solvent to one layer of a silver halide emulsion, and specifying a weight ratio of the coupler to the solvent to =0.9. CONSTITUTION:The one kind of the coupler shown by formulas I-III, and/or the polymer coupler derivated from said coupler, and the one kind of the compd. selected from the compd. shown by formulas IV-V, and the high boiling point org. solvent are incorporated in one layer of the silver halide emulsion. The compounding wt. ratio (wt. ratio of B/A) of the high boiling point org. solvent A per the coupler A is =0.9 in the titled material. In the formulas I-III, Za-Zc are each a non-metallic atom group necessary to forming a nitrogen contg. heterocyclic ring, Xa-Xc are each the group capable of releasing by reacting with hydrogen atom, etc., Ra-Rg are each hydrogen atom or a substituent.
