CONSTITUTION:A casher, when receiving an audio message from an audio response unit 10 by a telephone set 2, transmits a credit sale credit-worthiness investigation requesting code from the telephone set 2 to the host computer 1 through the audio response unit 10. The host computer 1 performs a logical check such as a separation code, a fixed code, etc. And it outputs the level of the credit-worthiness of the member to the audio response unit 10 in an enciphered audio message. Thus, a terminal equipment arranged at the retail shop can be used as the general purpose telephone set, and also, an installing expense can be reduced compared with a conventional system. Also, since a personal identification code is inputted by the member him/herself, and it is outputted to the host computer, the titled system is a very secure system for the member.
