BUILT-UP ROLL FOR THREE ROLL PLANETARY MILL

PURPOSE:To make the machining of roll easy and to reduce the cost of expendable tools by separating a face gear part of a roll for a three roll planetary mill from the roll to obtain another part, and assembling the roll by joining it to a roll main body. CONSTITUTION:A mill roll having a conical rolling part 5 is fitted and abutted to a revolving shaft 8 through mutual face-gear parts 8a and 6b; a clamping part 7a at the front end of a center shaft 7 is inserted to abut and attach it to a grooved part A by turning it a certain degree. When said face-gear part 10 is separated from the roll into another part, and is attached again to a main body 9 of the roll by screws 11 when used, a machining of the roll is made easy and the cost of tools is reduced.
