ABBREVIATED DIAL TELEPHONE SET SYSTEM USING MAGNETIC CARD TELEPHONE DIRECTORY

PURPOSE:To eliminate the need for checking a telephone number by loading a magnetic card telephone directory where memory addresses and telephone numbers are recorded to a telephone set so as to designate a memory address by dialing and reading a required telephone number automatically to apply automatic dialing thereby allowing the dialing by the reference of the memory address only. CONSTITUTION:The magnetic card telephone directory 1 recorded with memory addresses and telephone numbers is loaded from an insertion port 5 of an abbreviated dial telephone set 4 while a handset 8 is hooked off. A desired memory address is inputted by using a dial 7. The telephone set 4 reads a telephone number corresponding to the memory address from the card telephone directory 1 to make automatic dialing.
