AUXILIARY COMBUSTER FOR SUPERCHARGING BOILER

PURPOSE:To shorten the starting time, by arranging an auxiliary combustion chamber coupled with a starting booster fan and a fuel device at the inlet of an exhaust turbine. CONSTITUTION:An auxiliary combustion chamber 6 is arranged at the inlet of an exhaust turbine 7. A starting booster fan E is connected through an auxiliary duct 29 to the auxiliary combustion chamber 6. An auxiliary burner 25 in the auxiliary combustion chamber 6 is coupled through a solenoid valve 26 with a fuel device D. When a boiler is started, solenoid valves 26, 28 are opened so as to carry out combustion in the auxiliary combustion chamber 6, then high temperature exhaust gas is fed to the exhaust turbine 7. Consequently, the time required for self-operation can be shortened.
