PRODUCTION OF SPUN AND DIRECTLY DRAWN POLYESTER YARN

摘要

PURPOSE:To produce the titled yarn preventing the generation of fluffing and end breakage, by applying a lubricant to a polyester yarn immediately after melt-spinning using a pair of applicators arranged with a specific interval and keeping the yarn width contacting with the upstream applicator to be wider than the width of the downstream side. CONSTITUTION:A melt-spun polyester yarn 1 is directly drawn without winding. Two or more lubricant applicators to apply a lubricant to the yarn are arranged with interval of =50mm along the running direction of the yarn. The width of the yarn contacting with the upstream side applicator 2 is made to be =3 times the width of the yarn contacting with the downstream-side applicator 3. The lubricant is applied to the yarn along the directions 5, 6 and the tension of the oiled yarn at the inlet of a take-up roller is adjusted to 0.1-0.5g/d to obtain the objective polyester yarn.
