LIQUID FOR CORRECTING LITHOGRAPHIC PRINTING PLATE REQUIRING NO DAMPENING WATER

PURPOSE:To obtain a printing plate-correcting liquid high in hardening speed and free from offensive odor by using the correcting liquid containing a silicone rubber composition comprising a specified diorganopolysiloxane, a specified vinyloxysilane compound or its hydrolyzate, a specified silane or siloxane compound, and a silane coupling agent. CONSTITUTION:The correcting liquid is composed of the silicone rubber composition comprising 100pts.wt. of the diorganopolysiloxane blocked at both terminals of the molecular chain with hydroxyl groups, usually 1-10pts.wt. of the optionally substituted vinyloxysilane compound or its partial hydrolyzate represented by formula I, the silane or siloxane having the monovalent group represented by formula II in one molecule, and 0.5-10pts.wt. of the silane coupling agent. In formulae I and II, R1 is an optionally substituted monovalent hydrocarbon group; each of R2 and R3 is H or an optionally substituted monovalent hydrocarbon group; m is 3 or 4; and each of R4-R7 is H or a monovalent hydrocarbon group.
