PURPOSE:The titled composition, obtained by blending a carboxyvinyl polymer with a neutralizing agent therefore, alcohol and water, having good feeling of use without smarting hemorrhoids, inflammations, wounds, etc., on the peripheries of the annus and capable of readily keeping the peripheries of the annus clean. CONSTITUTION:A composition obtained by blending (A) a carboxyvinyl polymer, preferably crosslinkable type water-soluble polyacrylic acid with (B) a neutralizing agent for the polymer, e.g. alkali metal hydroxide or carbonate or organic base, (C) ethyl alcohol or isopropyl alcohol and (D) water. The amounts of the above-mentioned ingredients based on the total composition are 0.1-1.0wt% ingredient (A) 0.5-25wt% ingredient (C). The blending ratio of the ingredients (B) to (A) is 0.1-40:1. The above-mentioned composition in a small amount is applied to tissue paper or toilet paper for use.
