LINING MATERIAL FOR SMALL-DIAMETER PIPELINE WITH BENT TUBE

PURPOSE:To provide a lining material for a complicated pipeline by covering the outside of a cylindrical cloth having a extensibility in both the diametrical and lengthwise directions with a specific synthetic resin composed primarily of a thermoplastic polyester resin, having specific tensile strength and elongation at rupture and specific 50% modulus value. CONSTITUTION:In a lining material for pipeline, the outside of a cylindrical woven fabric of polyurethane elastic yarns preferably is covered with a very soft covering layer composed primarily of a thermoplastic polyester resin, having a 50% modulus value of 80kg/cm2 or less and a tensile strength at rupture of 150kg/cm2 or more and an elongation at rupture of 500% or more for preventing the occurrence of cracks. The thermoplastic polyester resin used is a block copolymer consisting of a hard segment of aromatic polyester and a soft segment of aliphatic polyester, aliphatic polyether, or both of these. As the acid componet constituting the aromatic polyester of the hard segment, such aromatic dicarboxylic acids as terephthalic acid, isophthalic acid, etc., may be cited.
