MACHINE ACCURACY ADJUSTING MECHANISM FOR SUBSTITUTE ROAD SURFACE DRUM FOR TIRE INSPECTION INSTRUMENT

PURPOSE:To easily and quickly execute adjustment and centering of parallelism and squareness by attaching and plate so as to be adjustable to a fixed frame side, and attaching a drum housing to this adjusting plate. CONSTITUTION:On a fixed frame 41, an adjusting plate 42 is provided at each three point position of (a), (b) and (c), so that an interval X1 to the frame 41 can be adjusted through adjustable supporting members 51-53 by a bolt. On its front, a guide groove 45 is formed through holding plates 43, 44, and to this groove, a fitting base part 34a of a drum housing 34 is attached and supported so that the housing 34 can move in the direction of a rotary axis center 5. In such a state, a parallelism inspection and a squareness inspection are executed in the housing 34, and when a necessary value is not obtained, a variation of the interval X1 of three point positions by advance and retreat of the supporting members 51-53 in each point of (a), (b) and (c) or the variation of the interval X1 in two points among three points is executed. Accordingly, the correction and centering by its adjustment can always be exactly and easily executed.
