RESERVED WORD MANAGING SYSTEM FOR MAINTAINING COMPATIBILITY FOR ADDITION OF RESERVED WORD OF PROGRAMMING LANGUAGE

摘要

PURPOSE:To make newly added reserved words compatible with an already generated program which uses them as labels defined by a user, by providing a reserved word classification table and a reserved word cancelling means in the reserved word management system of a programming language. CONSTITUTION:This system consists of a reserved word label table 1 where reserved word labels A1-An are stored, a reserved word classification table 2 where classification information a1-an of reserved word labels A1-An are stored, a reserved word table initializing means 3, a reserved word deciding means 4, and a reserved word cancelling means 5. These means are used by a syntax analyzing means 6 realized with a programming language processing program. When a reserved word as a label defined by the user appears in a program, the reserved word cancelling means 5 updates corresponding contents of classification information a1-an in the reserved word classification table 2 to cancel the reserved word. Thus, this label is used as not only the reserved word but also the label defined by the user.
