The container is closed by aluminium foil or the like and is associated with a lid part which can be connected to the container edge outside the foil. The lid part has a pouring opening which is covered or closed by a flap-type part. The latter can be swivelled in relation to the lid level and is connected essentially rigidly to a cutting element which lies in the closed position on the underside of the lid level and in the gap between the latter and the foil and, when the flap-type part is swivelled up, automatically pierces the foil and exposes it over a large area up to the edge of the container.
