An installation for the manufacture of shaped bricks from foam concrete, comprising moulds (3) resting on a vibration-free support (2) forming the base of the moulds (3), and comprising a filler means for the moulds (3), which are open at the top, characterised in that the support (2) forming the base for the moulds (3) is part of a turntable (1) on which the moulds (3) are mounted in at least one concentric circle at equi-angular spacing and which is drivable by a stepping drive (10) in rotary steps corresponding to the angular distance between the moulds (3), in that the filler means, which is associated with a fixed filling station (4) connected to the turntable (1) is immediately followed by a fixed mould opening station (5) as considered in the direction of rotation of the turntable, and in that the mould opening station (5) comprises a hoist (31) for the moulds (3), such hoist being radially movable with respect to the turntable (1), a vertically non-displaceable ejector (35) for the shaped bricks, such ejector co-operating with the hoist (31), and a conveyor (32) for carrying off the shaped bricks removed from the mould.
