The leak-proof packaging comprises a sealable metal tank with a cardboard wrapping. The tank is assembled from flanged parts which are soldered by hand. The cardboard wrapping has double overhanging closing edges in the lengthwise direction. The tank comprises a base with sheet metal sides and a top. The top has an opening in a closable element with a screw-cap and an elastic sealing washer. After mfr., the packaging is tested to 97 kPa.
