NON-WICKING POLYURETHANE CASTING SYSTEMSABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSUREA non-wicking polyurethane casting systemhas been developed which comprises the reaction productobtained by admixing a polyol containing N-N-N'-N'-tetrakis(2-hydroxypropyl)ethylene diamine, with anisocyanate terminated polyurethane based prepolymer.This non-wicking casting system is useful as a pottingcompound in biomedical applications such as dialysis andhemoultrafiltration devices and the like.
