Fungicidal compositions characterised in that they contain a compound of the general formula I IMAGE in which R DEG is substituted phenyl or other (substituted) aromatic radicals and heteroaromatic radicals, IMAGE R1 is H, Cl, Br, (substituted) alkyl R2 is H, Cl, Br, alkyl, (substituted) phenyl, thienyl or furanyl R3 and R4 are H, (substituted) alkyl, 2,2,6,6-tetramethylpiperidin-4- yl, alkenyl, alkynyl or cycloalkyl, or R3 and R4 together with the nitrogen atom to which they are bonded are a (substituted) 3- to 29- membered saturated heterocyclic ring (which is bridged by a (C1-C2) alkylene chain) which can also contain an O or S atom or the group NR7, -CH=CH-, C=O or - CH=N as a ring member, or are (substituted) 1,2,3,4-tetrahydroisoquinoline, or (substituted) 8-aza- 1,4-dioxa spiro-(4,5)decane. A large number of compounds of this group are new and are also embraced by the invention. The compounds of the formula I have a broad fungicidal activity against phytopathogenic fungi.
