For the production of parts made of thermoplastic and/or elastomer material according to the injection moulding process or to the reaction-injection moulding process, a multiple station unit (1) serves one or a plurality of two-stage units (A B) arranged according to a horizontal and/or vertical construction. Each two-stage unit (A B) has two mould stages (A1 A2 and B1 B2) to which are adapted two horizontal or vertical guiding elements (6), movable die plates (3 4) and a fixed die plate (2). For the high pressure injection moulding process and for the reaction-injection moulding process outer injection units are arranged in a movable or stationary arrangement. The multiple station unit (1) presents a hydraulic closure system (12). The two mould parts of a unit (A B) arranged between the three die plates (2 3 4) are simultaneously supplied by an injection unit so that the pairs of moulds of a plurality of two-stage units are alternatingly supplied in cascade. Owing to this invention, the production of parts is doubled for a same closure force. Furthermore, an alternated operation of a plurality of two-stage units is possible with a single hydraulic drive system, which requires only one drive power installed for one mould stage.
