ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURESurgical instrument for transjugularvenous thromboectomy, characterised in that it comprisestwo tubes placed in a parallel, back-to-back relation-ship, one of the ends of the longer tube terminating ina stopper provided with two axial holes, whilst the otherend has a widening provided with two side rings in dia-metral opposition, the end of the shorter tube having anoblique bending close to the widening of the longer tube,whilst its other end does not reach the longer tube; arod within the longer tube, the end of which, protrudingfrom the widening, terminates in a ring, and the freeend of which has a clamp which presses the ends of a steelcable passing through the axial holes of the stopper,forming a loop whose eye is increased or reduced untilit is closed; the axial displacement of the stem is guid-ed, without rotation, in the widening; a wire fixed tothe straight end of the shorter tube, the free end ofwhich is rotatingly secured to the mid point of the loop,as well as a tubular network, one of the openings of whichis fixed to that of the shorter tube and the other tothe steel cable of the loop, the wire being placed tan-gentially inwards of the network whose generatrix, incontact with the longer tube, is joined thereto; a screwfor fixing the moving position of the rod.
