Brush for imparting to the hair different shapes close to the roots and the remainder of the length of the hair during a brushing with a dryer. The brush presents at least a rounded side (13) for fluffing the hair root area. Said side is adjacent to a flat face (12) on which the remainder of a hair lock may slide in order to be smoothed up to the tip. The body (11) of the brush is designed to be adapted to the user's hand of which the fingers are held by a flexible band (15) with self-gripping closure (19). The hair lock may be held on the brush with the thumb. Such a hair brush is suitable both for domestic use and professional applications.
