glass fibre woven or otherwise, are used in the field of medical devices, in particular to strengthen dental polymers and bioabsorbable plug implants. the glass fibres are bioabsorbable plug and a pull-up resistance and sufficient elasticity so that they can be used as reinforcement.they are composed of 5 - 50% calcium oxide (cao), 50 to 95% of phosphorus (p2o5), penthoxyde 0 - 5% calcium fluoride (caf2), 0 to 6% water (h2o), and 0 to 10% of the xo, where x is a magnesium ion, zinc ion and strontium and sodium, potassium, lithium and aluminum. a representative of three oxygen ions when x is aluminum.
