Warp stop motion for pile-warp and backing-warp ends of weaving machines, which are formed by drop wires (111-115) resting on warp ends, and which, by falling of the drop wires, deliver a stop pulse to the weaving machine whenever there is a breakage of a warp end, characterized in that the wire bottom end (121-125) of the drop wire extends to underneath the most bottom warp end layer and in that they have, at various heights, a carrying eye (126-130), which coincides with the layer of the warp ends concerned.
