Water-closet bowl with means for the distribution of warm water for cleaning purposes and of warm air for the successive drying

The water closet has a U-bend incorporated in a bowl (5) for a seat with apertures below it for flushing water. It also has feeds (9,11) to distribute warm cleaning water and hot air for drying in succession. The cleaning water is heated in a heat-exchange chamber (17) through which the hot air is passed at high speed around feed tubes (45) for the water. The water feed tubes are of small cross-section and thin walled to aid heat exchange. They can form helices which are concentric with a radial space between them.
