1. Practice warhead for comparatively large calibre artillery rockets, with a mechanical or electronic detonator (12), a warhead (10), an essentially cylindrical casing tube (15) connected to it, a central accommodating tube (13) the front section of which is filled with a quick reacting igniter self-destroying unit (17) with strong gas and heat generation, and with a smoke unit (14) based on halogen carbons of halogen hydrocarbons and reactive metal or metal oxide powders, which is housed in an annular container (25) seated on the front section of the accommodating tube an held a both ends by means of annular discs (27, 28) attached to the accommodating tube (13), characterised in that inserted into the warhead (10) is a structural unit composed of accommodating tube (13), smoke unit (14) and a casing tube (15) and proportioned for a practice warhead of substantially smaller diameter, and in that in the region behind the smoke unit (14) the casing tube (15) of the inserted structural unit is enclosed by a reinforcing encasing tube (21) and there is attached an annular plate (22) partitioning the annular space between the encasing tube (21) and the warhead (10).
