Process for the production of an additive for lubricants, as well as for fuel mixtures and aqueous heating agents, in which an aqueous solution of invert cane sugar, used as the main ingredient with a hydrocarbon and alcohol content, is heated and then cooled. Inverted cane sugar is characterized by a degree of inversion of approximately 50 to 80% and is heated to approximately 75 ° -100 ° C until a red color is obtained. The additive thus obtained can be used in mixture with alcohol, water, petrol as an advantageous fuel and as a substitute for regular petrol and even for super petrol. A corresponding mixture can also be used as a heating agent. In addition, the lubricant properties can be improved by incorporating this additive. Finally, the efficiency of vehicle air filters and combustion equipment can be improved by impregnating the filter material with the additive described.
