The invention relates to a rescue vehicle (1) for rescuing human beings, clearing building or other debris and/or carrying out repairs within irradiated areas by remote control via a power cable (3), the rescue vehicle (1) being connected electrically to the external control desk (16) via a power cable (3). The cable runs between the rescue vehicle (1) and control desk (16) in synchronism with the travelling speed of the rescue vehicle. The control desk (16) is connected to the existing mains network and receives all the means for a completely external control and monitoring of the rescue vehicle and its accessories.
