The gas supply valve unit has two individual valves in series in a gas passage, actuated by a single hydraulic pump. An outlet pipe (20) from the hydraulic pump (19) is connected directly to the drive (12,13) for the second valve (5), and also via a pressure regulator (21), controlled by the gas pressure, to the drive (9,10) for the first valve (4) in a part of the unit (2) forming a guide for the gas flow. In the hydraulic return pipe to a reservoir (15) are one or more safety devices (26,29) connected in parallel to return-flow solenoid valves (25,30), ensuring the return flow.
