Single-dose peel pace - has depression in base covered by peel-off foil

The single-dose peel pack is similar to such packs generally used in the pharmaceutical industry having a cup-shaped depression (12) formed in base material (10) and a peel-off cover foil (18) with grip lip (22). It is used for holding and/or offering solid, pulverised, paste-like or liquid non-pharmaceutical substances (20) with soluble and/or volatile components and intended for personal use or consumption. Typical substances are condiments, e.g. pepper, paprika, curry powder, basil, chilli etc. or mixtures thereof; also perfume. A finely perforated plastics foil may be non-releasably secured over the contents (20) below the peel foil. The depression may be provided with a lateral pour-out groove for a liquid or paste-like substance. The cup-shaped depression may have a capacity of 0.2-20 ml, preferably 0.5-5 ml. Several of such packs may be connected via perforations in the base. The description contains details of preferred materials used for manufacture. ADVANTAGE - Peel pack of basically known design is used for a wide variety of non-pharmaceutical substances simplifying personal use and minimising wastage.
