The fixture for mounting a radiator or heating panel against a wall (13) comprises a base plate (1) and a carrier plate (6) releasably securable thereto. The plate (1) has a slot (14) for wall fixing and a portion (2) which is shaped to project forward of and parallel to the wall and contains a short vertical slot (4) intersected by a longer inclined slot (3) leaving an inward locking projection (5) between their lower ends. The plate (6) has its foward end recessed (15) for suspending a radiator and its rear end provided with two opposed lateral recesses (8,8') leaving corresponding projections (7,7'), the arrangement being such that this end can be inserted in the inclined long slot (3) and locked in the short vertical slot (4) by rotation. The plate (6) further has two relatively offset horizontal slots (9,9') and a lateral projection (10), the arrangement being such that a second similar plate can be adjustably secured thereto by bolting via the slots (9') with the projection (10) of the second fitting the slot (9) of the first plate. ADVANTAGE - The fixture permits replacing or extending the carrier plate. This plate is releasably but firmly held in the base plate.
