摘要
The spacer is for two panels mounted on edge and forming part of formwork for pouring concrete. It is used during mfr. of reinforced concrete slabs, panels or walls. It enables the panels to be accurately spaced apart and parallel. The spacers are made of strip metal, and are laid horizontally across the tops of the panels. A plastics disc or boss (6) on each end of the spacer locates inside a panel for accurate positioning. Each free end (2) of the strip incorporates a slot, and this is followed by a 90 degree twist (A) connecting it to a vertical central part (1). At the outside of the twist, tongues (5) project upwards, acting as stops for the boss. ADVANTAGE - The panels are accurately positioned without marking the concrete after pouring.
