The invention relates to a clamping-in device for wave soldering plug connectors, especially winding plug connectors (3) onto printed-circuit boards (4), which are inserted into a soldering frame (1) and are attached using a clamping device (2), empty areas, which result from printed-circuit board elements (4, 21), being capable of being covered with the aid of covering pieces (5, 17). At the same time, in the case of relatively long separating joints between the printed-circuit board and the covering piece (5, 17), gaps occur as a result of bulging, as a result of which damage and hence short-circuits can occur as a result of solder passing through to the top of the printed-circuit board (4, 21). In order to avoid this, the invention provides covering pieces (5, 17) which are constructed such that they surround the exposed edges of the small-format printed-circuit boards (5, 17) on all sides and thus prevent bending of the edges at the separating joints between the printed-circuit board (4, 21) and the covering piece (5, 17).
