The process comprises printing a temporary carrier with a printer paste containing a) polyacrylates, silicone elastomers, polyurethanes, butadiene-styrene copolymers and/or polyvinyl propionate in commercial form, b) crosslinkable polyvinyl acetate in commercial form, c) amino resins in commercial form, d) a curing accelerant, optionally in aqueous solution, e) thickeners, and f) optionally additional water, drying, and transfer printing in a conventional manner. The gloss prints obtained are very highly wash-resistant and are also notable for a soft hand.
