Method and device for lining thermally loaded apparatuses with highly thermally loadable and temperature-change-resistant materials

A method and a device are described, which relate to the temperature-change-resistant lining of thermally loaded apparatuses. For such a lining, it has been found that, by replacing the solid temperature-resistant bricks with honeycomb bodies made of temperature-resistant materials, not only is a considerably thinner lining possible with the same heat insulation but this lining is also temperature-change-resistant. Special forms of the mounting of these honeycomb bodies in various forms of the temperature-loaded containers are described.
