The invention relates to a process and device for producing fresh concrete using cement which has been precooled by liquid nitrogen. The liquid nitrogen is injected into the cement silo simultaneously with the cement. By this means, a good heat transmission between the components in question and an effective cooling of the cement are ensured in a simple, effective manner.
